About the Foundation
Message from the Directors
Welcome to the Website of the Kronkosky Charitable Foundation. We hope you find all of the information you are looking for and more!! Our site was redesigned to make it more flexible for our users and to provide more information of interest to those who are considering the submission of a Letter of Inquiry.

At Apply for a Grant you will find our Program Guidelines, which include information on eligibility, how to apply for a grant, funding deadlines, and the review process. Answers to frequently asked questions are also included in this section. Any of this information can be downloaded onto your personal computer or sent to you by mail.

You may also access Awarded Grants where grants since the inception of the Foundation can be found. We have added a search feature so you can obtain a quick listing of grants by category, by type or by county or a combination thereof. This data will be updated as we publicly announce our grants a month or so following our bi-monthly Distribution Committee meetings.

In the Research section in our Website you will find Research Briefs prepared by our staff on several charitable purposes of the Foundation. The Research Briefs are prepared to help put grants under consideration in perspective within a context that focuses on local statistics and information as well as national trends. We encourage your comments and suggestions on these Research Briefs. If they are incomplete or inaccurate, please let us know. We do not presume to be experts in these areas. You will also find the results of round table discussions we have held with groups of people familiar with particular topics. We share these because the power of information is in its availability to anyone who has an interest.

Evaluation of Grantee activities funded by the Foundation is a standard requirement of our grants. See the Evaluation section of this Website for more information.

We welcome any questions or comments you may have and we thank you for your interest in the Kronkosky Charitable Foundation.

Sincerely,
Palmer Moe
