The
Albert and Bessie Mae Kronkosky Charitable Foundation usually has one to three,
semester long, paid internship positions available to college undergraduates
and/or graduate students. Interns will be responsible for thoroughly
researching background information within one or more of the Foundation's
giving areas. These areas are
Health and Human Services (including Elderly, Youth, Child Abuse and Neglect, Persons with Disabilities)
Cultural Activities (Arts, Museums, Libraries)
Other Areas (such as Wildlife Preservation and Animal Issues).
Interns may be responsible for collecting statistical information,
entering it into the computer, and analyzing and reporting information
for use by the Foundation staff. Interns must have excellent writing
skills, be proficient in the use of the Internet to conduct research,
be familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel, and be able to quickly
learn PowerPoint and mapping software packages. Students who
have taken at least one research methods class are preferred. Interns
must be available for work 20 hours per week. The hourly paid rate
is $10 and the Foundation will pay for monthly parking. To receive
