by helping them to be healthy and productive members of the communities
in which they live.

To develop character and self-reliance in young persons through organized
activities founded on traditional values of respect and responsibility.


To free children from abuse and neglect.


To improve the health of persons living in Bandera, Bexar, Comal,
and Kendall counties in Texas through selected medical research efforts.


Types of Health and Human Service proposals that generally will not
be considered include the following:
Endowments, unless initiated by the Foundation
Debt or deficit reduction
Loans or loan guarantees
